I am a huge fan of XBMC and hope this is an easy fix. Photo slideshows (especially ones with a lot of images) inevitably crash XBMC. After a random number of photos, sometimes 5 or 6, other times 30-40, I get a crash with Error code -11.

I found something about "statfiles" today and added that to my advancedsettings.xml file with no effect. I thought it was a longshot but I tried it anyway.

After installing a CrystalHD card and doing some updates, my ATV still bombs out on photos. Here is another debug log and crashreporter. Any help would be great.

EDIT: I think this thread might be related. My photos are geotagged as well.

Ive found XBMC slideshow has a memory leak.

after some time, it will freeze.. the machine is still running (and can be ssh'ed to)..

a 'killall -9 xbmc.bin' fixes it (or a reboot)...

anyone else seen this?

btw - a 'free -m' at console showed hardly any memory available..
