Hi,

I did play my HD Material on XBMC Live without any problems, but after setting up a system in Win7 video playback on mkv is not good.

The sound is ok, but the video is "lagging". The only thing that i have installed on my win7 machine is XBMC. I have also installed Haali to play mkv in WMP and i dont have any problems there.

Can someone guide me in the right direction?
enabled DXVA2?
How can i do that?

EDIT: I have seen in other posts that i should be able to do this: System\Video\Playback\Allow Hardware Acceleration (DXVA2) But its not in my build. im running the latest downloaded it last night.

Im running on a ION board with dual core 330.

I just checked again and the mkv is playing without any problems in WMP Sad
make sure you are using the Dharma Release, then the Option should be there.
Also check that you aren't running Win7 in XP Compatibility mode - a debug log will tell if that's the case.
I did not have the Darhma release, sorry about that i thought when you downloaded the newest version from download it was the newest build.

Now its working, even in windows Big Grin But i will probaly change to linux anyway Wink
