I have problem with the smart playlist using the "path" option. Doesn’t matter if I take "path is" or "contain" etc. When I click browse I only see my dvd-drive. I want to pick out a folder on my nas where I have my Swedish movies. (I can see the movies within the movie library in XBMC. I’m running XBMC Dharma RC2 on Windows 7)
For me (in Ubuntu), it was as simple as including a forward slash after the final folder. For you, a back-slash, I guess.
Thanks for your replay Mr. Sparkle!
Hummm but did you enter the whole unc patch before you clicked on the browse button and then added the forward slash? In my case I have tried to write the patch with and without forward or back-slash. Doesn’t do anything. If I just type a back or forward-slash and then click on "browse" my local harddrive c: pops up, but I can’t see/browse my secondary local harddrive or any networkshare (and it’s on a networkshare I have my movies)
for samba shares, I have "Path is"
smb://servername/path/to/folder/
works fine
Ohh yes now I got it. I didn’t use smb:// I just wrote \\servername\path\to\folder
But I had to use “contain”. Still feels strange that we cant just browse directly to the networkshare. Oh well. Now I know how to do it.
Do need some help with the finally step, to add this smart playlist to the home screen.

Can this be done with the Confluence skin?
If I go to Add-on Shortcuts and Enable custom add-on button. But from there I only have “path to add-on”. Can’t choose any playlist, only add-ons just like it says. Do I need to change to another skin or can I do it another way for the Confluence skin?
