when i stick the dvd or cd in the xbox, the videos will play automatically, but the disk will show up as empty in both "my videos" and "my files". i have been having this problem with earlier versions as well, and the the version of xbox media center i am using is dated 12-31-04. to watch videos i actually had to dig up a old version of xbox media player 2.3, and it plays the videos fine and i can see them on the disk. why would the xbmc play the file automatically but show the disk as empty in both my files and my videos? please help i have been struggling with this problem for a very long time. i have gone through all relevant settings and am also sure it is not the dvd media, cd media or anything like that or it would not play autotically or in xbox media player 2.3.
