I can play dvd's just fine, but can't get them to eject. I have tryed both the RC1 and the RC2 of XBMClive.

I use the Transparency skin. Selecting eject does nothing. When I try the Confluence skin's eject, it literally removes the dvd player, and is no longer usable until the system is rebooted.

I have done some searching, but haven't found a cure.

I do it a bit different and I also use the Rapier skin.

I have a button on the remote mapped to the XBMC eject command.
Works for me.

Thanks, but not sure how that would help to get the control on the screen to work.

I did try the eject on the shutdown menu, but it removes the drive, not eject the drive.

Anyone have a way to do this?

Well, It wouldn't. It eliminates the need completely.
