Is it just me or is xbmc refusing to add .avi-files to the library?
It just wont recognize them. Why is that? It's been like that in older versions as well.
And oh, I use the latest rc on Ubuntu 10.10

funkyjansson - You have given us nothing to work with... Your post is basically just like dropping your car off at the shop with a note "fix it".

If that doesn't work, turn on debugging, rescan the library and post the resulting log file.
Sorry for the short info, but I kind of assumed this was a common problem since I had the same problem on another computer and another version of XBMC. So I tought some one wolud know anyway.
Anyway, try'd out you link but it didn't help.
Here's the log. It's way to long so I just cut out the parts where there seams to be scraper stuff
Cut some out in the middle as well, to shorten it enough.

I try'd to change scraper and in one of them I accutaly got the notification up that it is scraping. But nothing was added to the library.
paste the entire log to pastebin.com and then post the resulting link here.
Since nothing has been added, I'd remove source you setup for tv, clean the library, re-add the source and then scan and post the log file.

Yeah thats what I did just now. Done that lots of times. It never helps, but it does seem to get the scraper to start anyway. But I never have anything in the library efterwards.

Couple things - it looks like you have all your tv shows lumped together in the same folder. Each tv show needs to be in its own folder:

Also, you are using Daum Movie scraper? Why not thetvdb? Review the folder and naming conversions in the link and then try again...

It always works with non-avi files, but never .avi.
It's weird. Especially since it actually does the lookup, as we can see from the log.

Try renaming your weeds episode from:
home/micke/Videos/Series/Weeds.S04.SWESUB.DVDRip.XviD-Hassman/
to:
home/micke/Videos/Series/Weeds/Weeds.S04Exx.avi
where xx is the episode number. Then set content on Series as TV and the scraper TheTVdb and update library.
If you don't name them as mentioned in the wiki, you are in for a serious headache.
