I understand from searching the forum that XBMC does not show media flags for DVD until after we play the video. Is that correct?

Is there any way to enable the Skin to show media flags for DVD files (ISO and Video_TS) without playing the file? for example, naming the files in a way that allow the Skin to extract information? such as :

Movie1 (year)/Movie1.SD.AC3.ISO
Movie1.SD.AC3 (year)/Video_TS/....

1) yes
2) I dont think there is. Possibly is you want to edit the xml files. But then again anything is possibly with that.
