Hi guys, I'm building a HTPC for some relatives who have small children. As these small children are quite adapt at getting into menus they don't understand and changing everything possible, I was wondering how much I can prevent this sort of thing happening?

Essentially, I'd like if the user could do nothing but navigate lists of TV shows and movies, and watch them. I don't want them to even be able to change view modes when in library mode. Heck, I don't even want them to be able to go to file mode! Tongue

Is this kind of protection possible with XBMC?
Turn on kiosk mode in Settings. That will do just what you want.
Excellent! Thank you very much.
