i have been having problems with my menus, i guess you could call it artifacts or pixelation on the menus. It's been really pissing me off. If there is a fix id love to know how to.
Might be easier to tell whats going on if you provide a screen print.

Also, what skin and OS are you using?
Have you made any modifications to the skin?
You can always try and load Confluence to see if the problem continues. Confluence is a good measuring stick to tell if you are having problems with a specific skin or just XBMC in general.
There seems to be some pix-elation on all my menus and all the skins i try. I attached an example.

I am running mac os x 10.4.11
2ghz Intel Core Duo
2gb of ram.

Everything else works like a charm except for the menus.
I forgot the image. This is what all my menus look like, running the newest xbmc on a mac osx 10.4.11, imac

I just set up an old macbook pro with 10.4 (Tiger) and am having the exact issue (xmbc 11).

Did you ever find out what the issue was/solution
Could be the GPU going bad. I've seen patterns like that before on an iMac when the GPU was going out, except it was all over the screen and not just in one part of an application.
Only Eden supports 10.4, any Frodo alpha builds and mainline targets 10.6 as the min OS.
Thanks Davilla,

Ned, its only in XBMC that I have issues so I think the lack of support for 10.4 is likely the issue.

Shouldn't be an issue if you are using XBMC v11.

You could try something like this to see if it is bad RAM or a bad GPU: http://macosx.com/forums/howto-faqs/2998...dware.html
Updated tonight to osx 10.6 and that fixed it. Thanks.
