Hey guys,

Im breaking my head over this.
I got a Asus EEBox EB1501 with Nvidia Ion chipset.
I configured audio over HDMi via the xbmc wiki.

aplay -l
Code:
...
card 0: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 3: NVIDIA HDMI [NVIDIA HDMI]
Subdevices: 0/1
SubDevices #0: subdevice #0

I have sound for most of my movies but when I play a movie which is encoded with ac3 sound, I just get noise.
Can anyone help me because I can't seem to get it working, not even with help of the wiki and google Confused ?
so what are your audio settings in system settings?
Hannes The Hun Wrote:so what are your audio settings in system settings?

Audio Output: HDMI
Speaker Configuration: 5.1 (although I don't have 5.1 Confused)
Boost volume level on downmix = true
Dolby Digital (AC3) capable receiver = true
DTS capable receiver = true

Audio output device: custom
Custom audio device: hw:0,3
Passthrough output device: custom
Custom passthorugh device: hw:0,3

My EEBox is just attached to my tv via HDMI.

Speaker Configuration: 2.0
Boost volume level on downmix = true/false (whatever suits you best)
Dolby Digital (AC3) capable receiver = FALSE
DTS capable receiver = FALSE

fixed. sometimes it would really help if you guys would just set the audio settings to your actual setup Image
