Full Version: Creating XBMC Live USB Boot from existing HDD install

Hi All,

I've done a fair bit of searching and this does seem to be a rather specific request.

I spent a day setting up a Revo 3700 with XBMC live installed on the HDD. Got it all working just the way I want it, but now I want to take that install and place it on a USB so that I can install windows and dual boot.

Are their certain folders or certain things I can do to save all the drivers ext and create a bootable USB?

Many Thanks in Advance
Chris
What's the vibe.. not possible?
if you plan to just backup you working config i would suggest Acronis or similar to save the OS...
I am not familiar with this, but I think the best option would be to backup your current configuration in some manner, perform a fresh install, then restore your configuration to the new install.

Can someone with more experience confirm/deny this advise?!
