I'm using asRock ion 330 HT and sharing to a WHS using Samba
I activated the remote control on it by using Information on this website

what i did------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Activate remote control
Remote doesn’t work out of the box, you need to install the latest drivers for ubuntu 10.04 from Asrock.

(use root)
cd
Install wget to download the driver

apt-get install wget
I downloaded it here:

wget ‘ftp://174.142.97.10/drivers/Nettop/Ubunt...32-23.zip’
Extract and install

unzip ‘IR(10.04)kernel2.6.32-23.zip’
cd lirc-nct677x-1.0.4-buntu10.04_kernel2.6.32-23/
dpkg -i lirc-nct677x-1.0.4-ubuntu10.04_kernel2.6.32-23.deb
Choose Nuvoton Transceivers/Remotes from the list
Choose None for IR transmitters
Reboot the device.

the remote is working good but I can't accerss to the WHS that showing message 'Error2: share not available'

help!!
