hi, new to xbmc , i have a acer revo 3700 4gb ram with windows 7 , i have installed xbmc dharma 10 on the op sytem , set up and everything works fine except i get random freezes on video playback sometimes.i have to restart windows to put this right as icant even start task manager when this occurs. i can play the same movie again and nothing happens its ok . i am also connected to my amp through optical which works fine . thanks sean

I also have the Acer 3700. What skin are you using? How is the Acer streaming the movie (wired, wireless, local hard drive, NAS, etc).

I have noticed that sometimes if I do a Shutdown from XBMC it will freeze, requiring a complete system reboot in order to recover.

Hi. I'm using mediastream redux , using internal h drive , not having any freezes shutting down . Any ideas anyone , might try diff skin .
