Hi, I think when XBMC fetches file info, it seems to mess up or just rename the movie to something completely different.

Are you able to do this? Also, is there a way to rename a video in the library, then correct wrong info if you can't use the file name?

Yes - just "Refresh" the info.

Presumabnly refreshing would rescrape it in an attempt to get the info right. If this still fails you could manually create a .nfo file then refresh.
