Isn´t it possible to search all movies both HD/x264 and divx/xvid? It seems like you have to choose between them. I´ve tried to skip the filter but it want help. I´m using nZBmatrix.

Thanks

I'll have a look soon. To be honest I didn't tried every possibility.
New version available.
Config.ini has been changed
Either you start from the new one (default config.ini) or you add the below lines at the end of your existing one
#----------------- VLC Definitions ------------
#This is used to watch the trailer
vlc_path = "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\VideoLAN\\VLC\\"

Also the history.db has been changed. I'm sorry for that but you will need to start from fresh one

Just tried the new version, looks great.

When I first tried to perform a check I received an error:
"Can't load image from file './images/icon01.jpg': file does not exist."

I checked the images folder and don't see icon01.jpg, but I do see icon01.png.
I then got the same error on startup pointing to couchpotatobig95.png and one pointing to couchpotatobig56.png.

NZBMatrix check went without a hitch.
Checking nzbs gave a bunch of messages in the warning file:
"Debug: Warning IMDB JSON Down, impossible to get data for xxx"
I have been looking for years for a program like this, so thanks for implementing!! Unfortunately it doesnt really work for me. Sad My movie list is and remains empty even if I update with NZBMatrix of which I am a member. I filled in my correct credentials in the config file, and the program reports a success in the status bar. If I look at the logs they say:

Script Run On 20/03/2011 22:03:53

---------------------------

Script Finished Created By Binhex Modified by Gotcha007

There is nothing in between. Any tips on how to fix this are greatly appreciated. Note that I am Windows 7 x64.

Ok already corrected errors with image files

Change log 0.5.4b
- Corrected an error loading couchpotatobigxx.png
- Corrected an error loading Icon01.jpg

Can you tell me what you have in your console log (you have to put the debug to yes in config.ini)

Change log 0.5.4b
- Corrected an error loading couchpotatobigxx.png

I'm using 0.5.4b but still got the Icon01.jpg error twice, once a few seconds after startup, the second a few seconds after that. The icon next to Nzbs and NZBsu connection shows as ? rather than a cross or tick.

I also noticed 2 messages in the console window (didn't look before, sorry):
Exception in thread Thread-4:

I set ConsoleLogToFile="yes", I assume this is the option you need? The file is pretty long, so I'll email it across.
Ok I'll release another version soon (this evening normally)
Change log ver 0.5.5b
- Corrected an error on launch with icon01.jpg

It can indeed happen that sometimes you have IMDB Json down certainly with NZBS. I've already seen that they mess up with the IMDB ID on their website.
For that NZBMatrix is much better.
But normally it should also have found you some movies

The new version will include a possibility to remove certain movies from the search to avoid such error messages.
Also it will include finally (I hope lol ) the configuration via the GUI
Great program, thanks very much for making it! I have a request if you find the time. If it could scan current movies that a person has and then creates a list of favorite movie genres/directors/actors/etc. Just a thought, thanks!!

Added as a request :

Issue 30 Enhancement Accepted Low ---- lclement › Possibility to scan user's movies and create a favorite list

To be honest I already thought about that by maybe using sharethe.tv website
Looking very much forward to the next release, hopefully allowing to connect with XBMC library not installed on the same computer. Thanks again for your great work!!!

I'll see what I can do .
For the moment the next release will include :
- Config via the Gui
- Rewrite of code (much simpler and quicker)
- Possibility to add a movie into the blacklist from the GUI

I've also added into the TODO list another idea you had from the CP post :
- Possibility to add the movie from that site when they are released : http://popularnewreleases.com/coming-soon.php
Will this work ok on Windows Home Server?
