Hey man.
I have JB my TV.
I see greenpois0n -> Inject Software.
In that I see Cydia Payload.
Shall I install that first?
I had to revert to standard firmware prior to Greenpois0n but it worked great. On the Mac you'll need to delete your ssh hosts file otherwise it'll moan the remote id has changed.

In answer to my question yes I do
Ok so now I go into NitroTV and install the XBMC package.
It says Installing org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2 spins on this for awhile.
Then closes and goes back to the ATV2 main screen.
No XBMC option.
Am I missing something?
Forget me...
3rd time lucky.
Greenp0ison worked great. But: After jailbreaking WiFi is working. Not so after next reboot. Anybody here with working WiFi after first reboot of ATV2?
Mine came back up but I had to wait a loooonnnggg time... Have problems seeing smb shares now...
I did not encounter any of the issues you guys are saying. My atv2 isn't running wireless though.

Type apt-get update
Type apt-get remove com.nito.nitotv
Type apt-get install com.nito.nitotv
Type killall AppleTV

Thank you. Now it's working perfectly.
Hi All,
Thinking of doing this new jb. However i am not fond of getting that Greenp0ison menu. Can i uninstall that afterwards?
Menu looks Identical to AppleTV, only thing it adds after the reboot is NitoTV So you can remove that if you want.

How would I remove the NitoTV menu?
