Got it going. What I found out was the format needed to change, compared to how I normally format the code for streaming. Here's what worked for me:

rtmp://fms3.tikilive.com:1935/view/23997_022/stream23997 swfUrl=http://www.tikilive.com/public/flash/viewerModules/player/PlayerModule.swf?version=2.1.5 pageUrl=http://www.tikilive.com/show/classic-rock swfVfy=true live=true timeout=60

As I was typing this, it appears the stream info might have changed, and I may have to update the string, but at least this proved to work, and is something for you to work from.

yep the info changed just to characters this one works

Hi All,

I have been Googling, watching videos and reading threads for a couple of days now regarding Live TV.

As a background I run openSuSE 12.1 with the KDE desktop. I have followed the suggestions regarding placing stream information where XBMC can read it. However, XBMC did not see it until I put it in a folder. Then when I went to add a channel e.g. Al Jazeera I was then asked to pick a scraper to be used. There was none for Al Jazeera.

I hope someone recognizes this issue and can give me some assistance. Thanks in advance for your support.

It took a while for me to find it, because I overcomplicated things.
I found it through charles, with some difficulty.. URL Snooper 2 Looks much more annoying to use imo.


What's funny is, I don't even have xmbc. I'm just interested in messing with rtmp sites

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a stream show up under the "TV Shows" section? It would be easier than having to navigate through the file menus.
