Hey,

For some reason I keep on losing my music library. If I want to use the library function, I have to keep re 'Scan item to Library'. Seeming I have over a 100GB of memory, it takes hours.

Any suggestions?

It's not stored on a NAS is it? and do you have it updating at startup?

All my media is stored on a DNS-323 NAS. I also have it automatically updating when it boots.

I have not had any problems with my Movie library and it is the same setup. My Music library is pointed to my iTunes library. iTunes is setup to manage my music files. Would that do it?

The video library update does not clean by default whereas the music library does.

Turn of the music library update at start.
