I have a fresh install of XBMC on a clean install of Ubuntu 10.10.
When I load XBMC it works absolutely perfectly, like a dream.
If I then exit and go back in immeadiately, or 20 minutes later it runs really really slow, e.g 30 seconds to change the menu item and there is no way to get out with out a hard reset.
Can anyone shed any light on this, the machine only has 1GB of RAM so I am wandering whether when I exit XBMC it is not killing all processes and cant cope with running 2 instances, but I checked System Monitor and that does not appear to be the case.
Any help greatly appreciated.
