Is there any way to hide the login prompt that flashes up briefly before xbmc loads, so its xbmc splash / black screen all the way?

Actually, the question applies to all text that flashes up during boot/shutdown.

Basically, i'm wondering if it's poss for it to be all black screen / splash screen to give that complete appliance feel?

yeah, just turn off your tv before shutting down..
