Weather.Com addon is down due to api changes, which i read before. Is Weather+ with weather.Com provider working or do I change to accuweather? any solutions to this change in skins supporting weather.com only?

You need to use Accuweather.

How do i change provider in weatherplus to accuweather?

Accuweather is failing for me now as well. Such a shame, I really liked this loads!

still not really workin for me still only 7 days weather option shows weather the rest is nothin and temperatures arent always correct -.-', any news?

When I use Transparency it gives me actual situation and forecast for 7 days, including video from accuweather.
In Confluence, it only gives actual situation. I cannot change to 7 days so it leaves next 3 days blank.

For Weather.com Issue:

This addon was coded to fetch weather info. except for current info. which used to be fetched via weather.com API.
Please use Accuweather.com or Noaa.gov until I fix that issue.

If it's given by all the providers (Weather.com, Accu, Noaa), I can easily do that.

well i hope this will return the weather back to normal in my xbmc since them weather.com api idiots got all money hungry -.-'

currently only 7 days shows the complete info in main menu , and that too isnt completely correct in temperatures sometimes -.-'

Observation:
I have noticed that the tabs "Weekend Forecast" and "Maps Satellite and Radar" seem to work sporadically. This could be due to my connection being slow (satellite feed).

Request:
Allow a user to hide tabs that he/she does not want to display, such as "Weekend Forecast" .. etc, with a radio button in the setting.

I can make some options for that in the addon's settings, but visualizing weather info is only business of a skin, not of this addon.
There are a lot of skins and they have different weather layout and settings, so I think it's better to ask a skinner of the skin you use.

I'm noticing a couple other issues, which may be related to the overall problems that you already know about.


The above is my log. I also have the Large Map Icon Pack installed, in addition I have animated weather icon installed.

1. The current condition doesn't display an icon for me. I think that's because it's displaying all in caps. Like MOSTLY CLEAR, whereas it doesn't normally do so.
2. I have added different places in the accuweather setting, but it still seems to be choosing Dublin, London, Galway from the main configuration.
3. The precipitation isn't being grabbed, which may be related to the issue above. In Ireland, this makes a difference

These may not be weather plus issues, I've been away for the last six weeks and seem a bit out of sync, so forgive me if I am asking something quite silly.

i have now changed git master to fetch all weather through an add-on. this needed some small changes, so old weather add-ons won't run. the changes are minor though;

1) you have to depend on xbmc.python version 2.0
2) you have to set the info labels as outlined here

Thanks a lot for your hard work.
Actually it is always annoying me to fetch weather from weather.com before calling a weather addon.
I'll test soon and ask you some questions if any.
