I have a 2010 macbook pro. I just installed xbmc on to apple tv 2g...that's where i get confused...how do i add files to play on xbmc?

I saw a previous post about enabling SMB on my mac... i did that.
Then the poster said to to go xbmc, browse video source, add network..
i did that, but i don't know where to put my IP, what my username should be.

Can someone spell this out for me in noob terms how i get video files to play on xbmc from my macbook pro?
I am assuming you have smb set up, you are going to need to go into videos and add a source you should then be able to navigate to the smb share ex- add source then browse to smb shares----select workgroup (that's the name of my workgroup) then you will select you computer name then you should see all your shared folders, that is assuming you have them shared.

Hope this helps
there is this guide as well:
