I purchased some software called "Intelliremote" and i can now launch PowerDVD from my remote, mapped all the buttons etc and did the same for XBMC
Works great, when i want to watch a blu ray, i close XBMC, open PowerDVD and i get full control including full HD surround sound from my Radeon 5570
Well worth the £15 cost instead of messing around with xml files and registry settings
i recommend trying it out
