Hi All,
I've read through as much of the forums as possible, but just wanted to try and get a definitive answer, if there is one.
I'm thinking of purchasing an Asrock HTPC (ASRock ION 3D 152B) that supports 7.1 audio, and onboard DTS decoding, and would be connecting a 4.0 speaker setup to the analogue ports. (Two fronts and two backs)
Would XBMC be able to get DTS audio from a MKV decoded using the motherboard/Software, and output multichannel audio to these analogue ports ? Or is this only possible over HDMI/S/PDIF ? All source files are Blu-rays ripped with Makemkv.
I would be running the latest build on Windows 7.
