Hi.

As far as I understood and read here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Adv...ttings.xml it is not longer possible to override the refreshrate in the advancedsetting.xml in the Dharma release.

What was the rationale? Are there any plans to incorporate this feature again? I would highly appreciate it!

Thanks.
They were added after the Dharma release, so no stable release has ever had this option.
Sorry, but I am not sure if this answers my question... Wink

Will the option be implemented in any upcoming (stable) version?

Thanks.
Yes, it will be in the next stable release.
Ahh, good to know. That helps a lot!

Is "next stable release" already Dharma 10.1 or Dharma 10.x?

Thanks.
10.1 is a backport release, next stable is Eden.
I grabbed this thread again as I have an additional question on that topic: Is the function "override refreshrate in advancedsettings.xml" in the current nightlies (e.g. XBMCSetup-20110512-49369a9-master.exe) available?

Thanks.
Yes

not available for XBMC for Mac
