I've just installed latest version from hitchers repository and i don't see any homescreen icons. Any suggestion?

XBMC is updated to 10.1 (it didn´t work with latest nightlies neither).
What date was the nightly build you used?

That should work fine - post a full debug log if not.

Hitcher - I had to go back to 2.7.6 b/c of this. It worked, thank you. I was under the impression that all your Alaska skin updates were for 10.x. So that's not the case?
No, only fixes were added to 10.1 not features.
When I updated to 10.1 release same issue happened to me. (I never had the issue before)
The initial load showed the images but after watching a video it went back to the home menu and the backdrops were gone... only empty frames.
If you went from a nightly build to 10.1 you were actually rolling back XBMC.
Quick question somewhat related to this topic, is there any way to automatically update the nightly builds of xbmc kinda like you can update the skin automatically?
