Full Version: Select Karaoke Track by Number Help

I am able to play .cdg or .lrc karaoke if I select them from music library mode. I am able to export the karaoke files to a .csv. What I am unable to do is while a karaoke song is playing is to (as described in http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=HOW-TO_setup...or_Karaoke) select the next song by simply entering the track number.
To this end I have a couple of questions:
1. In the HOW-TO setup XBMC for Karaoke it says
If the setting "Auto-popup song selector" is enabled...
Where is the setting located and does it really need to be on ?
2. Thinking that all I need is to ensure that numbers are being input from my remoate, I've tried several locations in remote.xml to tell xbmc to map <one>Number1</one> (0-9). I've tried in:
<global>
<remote>
and in
<MyMusicLibrary>
<remote>
But no luck - Where should this mapping go in a remote.xml ?

I am running openelec.tv RC3 distro of XBMC Dharma pre-10.1 on a Shuttle XS35GT.

Thanks for any help you can advise !
1. The auto-popup song selector setting has been renamed to "Show song selector automatically". I updated the Wiki.

2. You should add mappings for the remote you're using. I added them to "<remote>" section.
Thanks for the reply. I did have the menu setting "Show song selector automatically" flipped on. I'm attaching my remote.xml. I'm not sure where one would need to put the 0-9 mapping - any help would be appreciated.
