Not really. You can't install onto it, and while XBMC will stream to it, you'll be very limited in what you can play due to codec issues.

Blast! I was really hoping that I could find an alternative to the Windows media center extender on the 360. I have already run into issues with the codec limitations on the 360 as I wanted to watch an episode of my favorite tv show only to find that it was encoded in an unreadable format. Guess I will just have to wait it out until I have enough to rebuild my HTPC. Being out of work because of back issues really puts a drain on my cashflow heh.
