HI, I reinstalled windows to a ssd, in the process i changed system to achi mode i do see all the drives from the new install, but did have to change ownership to main user mode, I installed xbmc and i added all the folders, XBMC does scan the folders but picks up nothing
if i go into each seperate folder and pick out items individually and ask for movie/tv show info, it will scrape the info in,,, not really a process i want to do for a database of 850 movies and 20 or so tv shows,,,,
I am thinking there is something not set right to make it scrape info to rebuild the database.
If you provide your log file (%APPDATA%\XBMC\xbmc.log), you may have better luck receiving help as this will help us determine the problem.
here it is, i had to do copy & paste, don't know if/how to do attachments, i did some erasing to make it fit, mostly stuff about screens

i self solved this one, I had changed ownership of drives in between when xbmc was open,, i erased video sources and re added, all good now it seems
