Hi, I have had this problem for a while now and I can't seem to find an answer.

I use the AppleTV with the latest version of XBMC. I scrape my directory with Imdb.com, but it fails to find the movie info correcly for a few files.

One examle is the film D.A.R.Y.L. (1985), the database has the info for this film http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088979/

I have named my file D.A.R.Y.L (1985).avi but it shows a film called Droids instead.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong - it works for 99% of my files its just the odd few and its driving me insain.....

Cheers

I don't know why it happens but when it does i usually make a simple NFO file.

Using text edit on mac (notpad on windows)
Select plain text then write:
Quote:<xml>
<title>D.A.R.Y.L.</title>
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088979/
</xml>

then save it in the same location as the media file with the name name, but changing the extension to ".nfo"

Not sure if this is the best way, but it is a way
Thanx I'll give it a try.
Yep works a treat - thanx dude Smile
