First off I am very new to this and so far I am loving it. I just ran into a problem though. Everything was working perfectly until I added a remote and now XBMC opens in a window and not full screen. I am running windows 7. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also I know I can press \ and have it switch to fullscreen I am not sure what changed and how to avoid pressing \ to make it fullscreen. So far I have only been able to find answers that apply to Linux.

once you switch to full screen using the \ key, you should be good. As long as you close xbmc while in full screen, it should reopen in full screen.
