Don't ask me how but i accidentally deleted all kernel files in /lib/modules (stupid, stupid i know...)
Now my htpc boots till prompt and then nothing
Is there a way to get it back?
I have a dualboot system with ubuntu 10.10 on a separate partition so from there i can still browse through my xbmc live partition.

These are the wrong forums to ask such a thing. Ubuntu forums can help a lot more with this.

Just to get you going, you have to chroot the XBMC Live partition and install the packages again with sudo apt-get install --reinstall package_name. Should be something like linux-headers-kernel_string, if I remember correctly. I must warn you that this is not something an inexperienced user should try.

Anyway, google for chroot partition and follow the how-to's.
