Hi guys,

I have an Aver Revo 3610 which was running 9.11 so upgraded yesterday and now i have no sound. I have 2 revo's and the other one is working fine. (although this is running via an amp but via hdmi)

I checked out Alsamixer and cannot see anything strange

Master is 81, PCM 100<>100, Front 81<>81, Mic 0<>0, Mic Boos 0<>0, S/PDIF MM, S/PDIF D 00, S/PDIF 1 MM.

Any ideas

Also tried using custom plughw:0,3 in device and passthrough but no joy.

It works for me.

S/PDIF 1 is the one you need to unmute. Press M in alsamixer to unmute it.

I have also just upgraded to 10.1 after installing an SSD drive in my Asrock 330 and had no audio over HDMI.

Opening Alsamixer and unmuting spdif worked a treat.
