Whenever a show doesnt have fan art it defaults to the background used for "TV Shows" or "Movies". Is there a way to have a different background than on the home screen in the library ? i.e. have one image for the "TV Shows" background on the home screen and different one when in "TV Shows" library ?

It's possible, yes. For instance you have Container.Content(tvshows) to allow a different image to be chosen conditionally from the skin.

It will require modifying the skin I suspect (though I'm not certain - Confluence may allow this already).
