I am running into an issue with HDMI out (from NVIDIA GT240) for my HTPC that the audio will not be on if the receiver is not on at boot.
Is there a way to configure audio to force out always for alsa?
I used to have the problem where the video was not initialized either at boot if the receiver was not on, but I got that fixed by adding some extra options to the xorg.conf. Just wondering if a similar fix exists for audio.
