I'm running XBMC 9.04.1 on an Acer Revo 3600. Audio output is HDMI directly into a TV.

When I try to play a CD (not using the music library, just using the file directory -- library for music isn't setup), XBMC skips every other song. It's not odds or evens -- it's every other. I can start at song 1 and hear 3, 5, 7, etc, but 2, 4, 6 get skipped.

By "skipped" I mean that the songs play through, just no audio comes out.

Any thoughts?

It's going to be hard to support such an old version. I don't even have a copy of the 9.04 source any more.

Actually, I'm having this same exact problem with 10.1. Audio for videos is perfectly fine, it's only with music.

desactivate the fade option between two song and see if it still happens.
