Reverted back to 0417 and everything works.

Hi,

If you enable omx player in settings->Video->acceleration, all videos will play again.

Please try again on build#418 with this setting.

regards,

omxplayer is disabled by default on the rpi2, so I'll just wait until whatever happened to mmal/dvdplayer to be corrected and stay on 0417 for now.

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - aytek - 2015-04-19

Hello,

I have a problem for the last 1 month (with all updates)

Everytime I wake up openelec from stanby and don't touch it for some time, I find it freezed with the pop-up saying that:
Pulse-Eight CEC Adapter
No CEC capable TV dedected.
Disable polling for CEC capable devices?

Now there are 3 issues:
1) When I wake up from standby and see this pop-up, I click YES because I don't know what CEC adapter is and I don't use it.
2) Even I click YES and disable polling, still I get this screen.
3) The worse thing is that, if I respond instantly, I can continue using openelec but if I don't respond instantly and leave the pop-up on the screen without answering, after some time, it always freezes. The only way is to unplug power and re-plug.

Can you please help me to sort out this issue.

1, 2 & 3) it's a bug, apparently in CEC code, already reported but no response. Just disable CEC in Settings -> System -> Input devices -> Peripherals and you won't be bothered by the dialog again.

Kind of ironic that something designed to keep CEC quiet has just the opposite effect.

popcornmix, your threshold hack works for me in DTS

...but if i wont to play a "special" Video DVD - Phill Copllins finaly Disk One/Two ... Pi2 crashed - reboot or/and Menue (over ifo) dont work and Pi2 hangs on tree ;-)

#417 (with avanced setting) don't play this DVD, but Pi2 is still operable - other DVDs plays.

Edit:
...if i switch to "skip introduction" in settings, will plays all perfekt #417 - only DVD-Menue would'nt work (?)

sorry, think is to special ;-)

I've said before use a paste site like xbmclogs.com. I don't want to enter captchas and unzip files just to see the log.

The author of the original change doesn't understand how this fix can change behaviour with DTS files.

Can you post a debug enabled log of you playing the DTS file successfully (with the advancedsetting in place) and unsucessfully (without the advancedsetting) and we'll see what the difference is.

Hi Milhouse, thanks for prompt response and support. Disabling CEC seems to be solving my issue for now.

Any idea if there is any known issue for audio clicks while playing FLAC files on external USB audio cards on RPI2 ?

Log here :
http://xbmclogs.com/pskemg3tp

It happens often enough to be annoying.

Mea culpa Angel
... i also cannot see a difference - have put the false SDcard inside on my second Pi2 - on these grounds these misunderstandings, sorry

i personaly see only a differenc in the handling of this wavew.files in #417.
without the advanced settings i can "play direct all files from the folder"
with adv.-settings i must open the Folder and click on the first file to play all Confused

#322 DTS AudioCD works log: http://xbmclogs.com/pmbcroqp0
#417 with advanced settings works - log: http://xbmclogs.com/p5cep2oaq
#417 without as - also works (with another "Handling" - log: http://xbmclogs.com/pdlo0bqpr

### I hope those incorrect information will not happen again in future ###

So DTS is playing okay with latest build (with or without the advancedsetting) ?

What should I do to make DTS-HD passthrough working?

I enable DTS-HD in acceleration already but when I choose the passthrough HDMI, my receiver only shows DTS when I play DTS-HD movie.

DTS-HD passthrough is not supported. Either enable DTS passthrough and get 6 channel audio.
Or disable DTS passthrough. Set "number of channels" to "7.1" and enabled "DTS-HD" in acceleration settings and you will get 8 channel lossless PCM audio output.
