RE: NHL TV™ - sdsnyr94 - 2018-10-08 Any chance that we can get "Start from Beginning" option for live games? If I remember correctly, it wasn't possible a couple of years ago... has it been verified that it still cannot be done? RE: NHL TV™ - amd7674 - 2018-10-11 I used https://nhllive.rogers.com/en/blackout tool to determine if I can watch Toronto at Dallas last night. I think it shows as I should be based on my area where I live. However last night it gave me the usual 48hrs blackout rule. Does anyone one know how to check which games are being blackout? I don't think the nhl tool works... RE: NHL TV™ - Jezze - 2018-10-13 @eracknaphobia i have problems playing any games now, even old games not working. Here is log: https://pastebin.com/CnfB8qk8 RE: NHL TV™ - eracknaphobia - 2018-10-13 Try disabling input stream adaptive. Addons > my addons > videoplayer inputstream > inputstram adaptive RE: NHL TV™ - Jezze - 2018-10-13 (2018-10-13, 20:16)eracknaphobia Wrote: Try disabling input stream adaptive. Addons > my addons > videoplayer inputstream > inputstram adaptive Cant do that, one of my addon using that RE: NHL TV™ - eracknaphobia - 2018-10-13 I'm merely suggesting you try that and see if you get a different outcome. RE: NHL TV™ - minnie1967 - 2018-10-13 My NHL TV is working fine. If you're using a automatic cleaner, disable it and check again. On the other hand , NHL GAMECENTER LIVE has been marked as broken in repository. RE: NHL TV™ - feerlessleadr - 2018-10-14 @eracknaphobia I'm not sure if something changed on the NHL side of things or with the add-on, or as a result of Kodi 18, but I'm watching the Canes v. Wild game right now, and I just noticed that even though I started the game after the game already started, I'm able to rewind the game all the way back to when the stream started (ie before the pregame, where it says the game will begin shortly). Is this something new on your end with the add-on? I don't believe so since I'm still running v 2018.4.19, but wanted to check. If all of the games allow to be rewound all the way back to the beginning (regardless of whether a change by the NHL or by using Kodi 18), is there a way to add an option to start from the beginning of the stream, rather than having to start at the current point in the stream and then rewinding? Thanks! ::EDIT:: I just tested a few other games, and I'm able to rewind all of the games all the way back to the beginning of the streams (ie well before the pregame shows started), even when I start watching the streams fresh. RE: NHL TV™ - hadams82 - 2018-10-14 It says I don't have an NHL TV account - but I do have a Rogers Sportsnet account. I therefore am unable to watch the leafs game. Help please! RE: NHL TV™ - simpucker - 2018-10-15 Wow, that is great news. Great finding, it looks like we are onto something here. As I am unable to test this for myself: Did you consider conducting your tests with two different settings of the "Start all games from the beginning" setting in the officlal NHL App (Android and iOS)? Maybe setting this will toggle something in your nhl.tv account. Of course, you would need to be logged in to your account on your smartphone when you change this setting. In iOS, it is avaiable at "...more", "Settings", "Playback Settings". In Android, it is available directly under "Settings". Further, maybe referring to this post does the trick. Notice how there are several settings in the source code. Maybe changing these will help. RE: NHL TV™ - eracknaphobia - 2018-10-15 @feerlessleadr My guess would be Inputstream adaptive allows for this, that is a major change in kodi 18. I'll look into this further and see if what I come up with. RE: NHL TV™ - feerlessleadr - 2018-10-15 just FYI - I have inputstream adaptive disabled, since I can't get the stream to play at the full 720p60fps. Presumably, that means I'm using the legacy way of grabbing/watching the stream. Thanks eracknaphobia RE: NHL TV™ - feerlessleadr - 2018-10-15 (2018-10-15, 16:13)simpucker Wrote: Wow, that is great news. Great finding, it looks like we are onto something here. I actually have not accessed my NHL.tv account from either a web browswer, or android device (I don't have any iOS) devices, since I first started using this plugin a few years ago. The reason is that whenever I would login from one of those devices, kodi would tell me that I've logged in too many times (or something like that), and I'd be locked out for 15 minutes. Also, I don't think I've ever actually watched a stream from one of those platforms, so I have no idea what those settings are currently set at on my account. So whatever settings I had originally set up on my account 3 or 4 years ago is what's there now. I did some more testing last night, and while I was able to rewind in small increments throughout the game, I did notice that for a game in the 3rd period, when I tried to immediately go all the way back to the beginning, Kodi froze. At that point, I was tired, so just put my shield to sleep and didn't do any more testing. I will keep playing with it tonight though. RE: NHL TV™ - eracknaphobia - 2018-10-16 @Jezze I noticed if stream quality isn't set to best available and inputstream adaptive is enabled nothing plays. I will fix this but in the meantime, try that settings and see if it works for you. @feerlessleadr Interesting, thanks for the info. |
