No lights on the keyboard, no beeps (is there a chassis speaker?). Tried reseating the ram and the other slot, tried cmos reset also. Still nothing. Anyone come across this and have another suggestion? I had a similar problem: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=119876 - mrempp - 2012-03-08 so what do i need to hook up all the case fans. the link from the op lead me to buy a 4pin to 3x 4pin splitter. Seems to be the wrong one. can anyone tell me what cable i need to hook up the fans? RE: Entry-Level unRAID Server Build - mrempp - 2012-03-14 so my new system wont boot. the board requires a 4 pin 12v cpu power connector, and the suggested psu doesn't have this connector. how are you guys getting power to the cpu? RE: Entry-Level unRAID Server Build - spencers - 2012-03-15 The 8-pin connector can be separated into two 4-pin connectors (with the cx430). Just like how the extra 4-pin can be separated off the ATX power connector. RE: Entry-Level unRAID Server Build - evanl81 - 2012-04-07 As noted earlier, the motherboard in the OP is hard to find. Is this a suitable substitute? http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-SB710-Chipset-Motherboard-GA-78LMT-S2P/dp/B0054OWT0G/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1333762228&sr=1-5 RE: Entry-Level unRAID Server Build - eskro - 2012-04-07 with unRAID software v5, any motherboard will do. RE: Entry-Level unRAID Server Build - evanl81 - 2012-04-07 Thanks. RE: Entry-Level unRAID Server Build - evanl81 - 2012-04-10 It's been asked a few times, but I'm still not quite sure what the solution is... The case has four fans with 3-pin connectors. The motherboard I purchased only has one 3-pin fan connector. The adapter linked in the OP converts one Molex input to three. How do I hook up the fans then? Do I need one or these for each fan? http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-3Pinto4PinAdapter-3-Pin-4-Pin-Adapter/dp/B000BSJGL0/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1334009909&sr=1-1 Thanks. Edit: Or is the item in the OP supposed to be something like this? http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0319763 Edit2: Nevermind. Should have opened the fans and found the Molex adapters first. That MB has a Realtek 8111E LAN-Card. A lot of people have problems with it. So I wouldn't buy it. http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Hardware_Compatibility#Motherboard RE: Entry-Level unRAID Server Build - eskro - 2012-04-10 Wiki needs an update thats why,,,, with unRAID software v5, Realtek 8111E chipset is supported.
