What's more broken here, XBMC 13.0 or Aeon Nox 4.1.9?
Did you go to the playlists section and ensure the playlist is functioning as it's supposed to? Perhaps you made a mistake in creating the playlist rules? What type of sharing are you using? I've heard SMB in the preferred way with Windows (right-click drive and choose share; an icon with two faces should appear next to the drive to indicate it is being shared). The option to use video folders does not appear to work with Gotham, but smart playlists should work as before. Do your movies show up in the default "Movies" section? It could be a problem with the source. Using backups from XBMC Backup can cause a range of problems, as well.
As for artwork, from the video info screen for the selected title select "choose art." Scroll to the very bottom of the category (e.g. poster) and choose "browse" to select local art.
The playlists I've freshly created, after again un-installing Gotham 13.0 and re-installing it, do in fact work. I made 1 for 3D Movies and when I go through playlists I can see the 3D Movies playlist and select it which brings up a library of all my 3D Movies. When I try to set the custom menu item as a video playlist the playlists do not exist. And yes all these movies appear in the default Movies section.
There is still no option for Smart Playlist manager in the main menu editing like there was before (how you'd set the background for that menu items based on the playlist itself, which exsists but only in some places).
Setting a menu item background to Random Movies/TV Shows does not work. Selecting a folder of artwork (like I do for my Movie Trailers menu item, which doesn't work because directly linking to a video folder fails) does work.
95% of all my media is stored locally. That means there are 9 4TB drives built into 1 HTPC. Just as it was for Frodo and Gotham up to and including RC1.
Now I can not download any add-ons for some unknown reason. So trying to input the additional artwork won't even work at all. Yes the poster and fanart are automatically found and scraped. I'm trying to add the additional artwork, the clearlogo, clearart and discart files I spent days accumulating and previously adding to my library before 13.0 was release and turned everything to pot.
This can't be an issolated incident. I've rebuilt my HTPC from a freshly formatted drive back up and STILL have the same issues. Some are not directly related to the skin but WTF is going on? I've even re-downloaded Gotham 13.0 3 times when the first failed and the second gave me errors just trying to install. Everything worked properly in RC1 (other than direct folder linking, still no answer as to why on that) but with the full release things are failing all over the place. It's not very fun at all. Next attempt will be to remove 13.0 and try RC1 again and see what works right and what's still broken.
**** Now I'm not sure what to make of things. I've gone back to my standalone PC which I updated to Gotham 13.0 and (almost) all the issues I'm having described above aren't there. Yet on my HTPC, after multiple completely clean installs, I'm having nothing but problems. Something just doesn't make sense and it's driving me crazy!
***** The PC is using Aoen Nox 4.1.9.6 so that could be why it's working while 4.1.9.9 is not.

yes it is shift view. and yes all tv shows have this problem.

yes it is shift view. and yes all tv shows have this problem.

that is strange. Also the location of your "season and Genre" seem to differ to mine. Also mine doesnt show the channel logo.

I've downloaded all the latest and greatest (Git and extendedinfo) and I'm getting the extendedinfo script failed message. Anyone else? Or any suggestions? TIA

Yup I would. I think its awesome. Only ten episodes per season but at 50-55 mins per episode but it is really good. I've got a few shows myself I need to start and finish off.
