Yes... will happen in rare case, but we've already discovered and fixed the issue.

Hi,
during the Bluk Renaming Process my whole directory structure is gone. Some Posts earlier i saw, that this is a bug in the Bulk Renamer.
I sorted my movies like this.
\16\movie1\movie1.avi
movie2\movie2.avi
\18\movie1\movie1.avi
\movie2\movie2.avi
Now everything is in one folder. To restore my structure i need the MPAA rating in the Bulk Renamer to create a structure like this
\16-movie1\16-movie1.avi
\16-movie2\16-movie2.avi
\18-movie1\18-movie1.avi
\18-movie1\18-movie1.avi
After this i can recreate my structre and everything is like before.
I hope you can help me.

Which version are you using?
EDIT: Or rather, which version were you using when you ran the renamer?

Any chance we can get a newer testbuild pre-compiled to download and play with? The builds now are almost 200 off from 790. It used to be updated much more regularly.

Thank you for the quick reply. The version i actually use is r790. But I noticed the folder error this morning. So i can not say this error happend with r790 or with the version before. Actually i only used this two Versions of the Ember Media Manager, not more.

Any of that versions have a issue with muiti folder path deep
SVN allready have fix for that, and also, latest svn have new options to correct your folders
Please use SVN, or wait a couple of hours for a new test build (or release
)

Latest test build was in http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=379856&postcount=1975
but this also not the most updated one at this time.. in a couple of hours we problably release on more test build (or release)

I just tried the latest test builds and meta data is definitely scanning better. I assume this has something to do with the code change suggested by clackerdacker. Anyway, I've just rescanned and checked ~30 different movies and they all come out the exact correct duration, but...
I have found an odd anomaly. If the actual duration time (in Power DVD) contains the numeral "9" in any of the digits, the scanned duration time in Ember replaces that "9" with a "3". Here are some examples:
Key: Movie, Power DVD time, Ember time
Fight Club, 2:19:02, 2:13:02
Doubt, 1:43:49, 1:43:43
He's Just Not That Into You, 2:09:10, 2:03:10
This happened in every single instance I tested where there was a "9" in the duration reported by Power DVD. Conversely, every instance where there was no "9", Ember reported the exact correct duration. Odd.

just tried the latest test version 957
I use the scrape missing items, automatic, poster only on my collection that has not been fully populated with posters.
Before i start the scrape i select the first movie. After the scrape has started and is running for a while a different movie down the list is selected, after that the selection shifts up a movie at a time. When i scroll to the top of my list i see a couple of empty lines. i can select these lines and even select edit movie, giving a empty edit screen.
This adding of blank lines at the top continues until the scanning process reaches the point where the last scan stopped.

Hi, v957 has another problem. When i edit a Movie with CTRL + E, the Genre list is complete empty. The only entry is NONE.
