Hello Batiatus when you did your fresh install did you use 13 or the latest 13.1 ? Just wondering if the new version contained any fixes for your problems

I use the spotimc plugin. When playing music i noticed that the artistslideshow addon is not started automatically anymore. Could this be a problem in the skin?

It is the skin from Phil65 & BigNoid. It's not a new skin. Only my two cents...
But warlion did a great job on this...
Warlion has renamed it Aeon Nox Gotham Plus, which I think is more than sufficent to differeniate this skin from Aeon Nox 5, in the same way Aeon Nox and Aeon MQ evolved out of the original Aeon.

Just got 4.1.9.9 working on my second HTPC with direct link to folders still working. No idea how. Wish I did know.
I guess I have 1 other request. When using logos in landscape view I'd prefer the extra info on the bottom of the screen rather than the tagline. The option to change this would be nice. As well as an explanation of the above.

Just Gotham 13.0. No idea why this feature works on only 1 install out of probably 15 I've done.

No. In landscape I use the logo artwork not images or names. Under the art is the tagline. Would prefer the extra info (year, runtime etc) than the tag line.

Yeah, someone just pointed out to me that the info is at the top only when you use single logo in Landscape. If you use logos then it's at the bottom.
Here's the modified xml to obtain what you want to do. Works for me.
Rename the original variables_old or something and put this one instead.

Try to change $VAR[InfoWallBottomLabel2Var] for $INFO[ListItem.Duration,, $LOCALIZE[12391]]
Can't remember for sure but I think it gets rid of the votes.

I figured it out myself! Deleted AndVotes from all list items Ratings entries and those ugly votes are gone!
Wonder what else I can tweek..... If only I knew what caused the disconnect in video folders
?

There was a bug in xbmc that when you install addons or skins and such from a zip, it would place a copy of the zip in the directory...
"C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\packages\"
and even though you uninstall the addon or a skin, if you go and re-install the skin again and it has the same name it will install the copy it placed in the packages directory instead of the zip you intended to install.
If you have re-installed anything that you have previously installed and it had the same name but nothing seem to change or you still have listed an older version, you should go into the packages directory and delete the zip of your original first time install before reinstalling. I don't know if this has been fixed yet or not because I now always go into the packages directory and delete the old copy first. Hope it helps. Cheers.

Thanks for the tip but I've done many fresh installs after completely removing all traces of XBMC from my system including completely formatting and re-installing Windows on one machine. So far the only time this feature has worked was last night when I upgraded my second HTPC and then I did a complete removal and deletion of the XBMC folder in the appdata. I can't explain it.
