@latts9923 Was kinda forced to Nexus on my Shields...LOL Can you post a link to a zip file of your MQ8 Nexus Mod? I always have problems getting the skin directly from the repo and it goes a lot faster just installing from the zip file. Also, will you be starting a separate thread or using this one. Thanks as usual!

Just a warning. Not thinking, I upgraded the skin to the Nexus skin and it has reverted everything back to the standard settings, so I have lost all of the settings I've spent the last three months setting up.
Not sure if restoring back to Matrix will get them back.
No fault of @latts9923, but I would have expected Kodi to have asked if I wanted to upgrade to Nexus before upgrading.

Quick update - After the unexpected upgrade to Nexus on my Shields I installed Latts's MQ 8 Nexus Mod (just a note for those using Shields, installing from the Repo take a LONG time but it does finally complete). Had to redo the skin configuration (so make sure you know how you have it configured) but once that is done it seems to work well. I did have to disable Skin Helper Service Widgets to get it stable. Also changing the main menu bar color does not seem to work. Still testing...

@Chalklands Hmm...I wonder what happened there. Both my Shields auto updated to Nexus and I didn't loose any settings. If you install Latts's MQ 8 Nexus Mod you will have to redo your skin settings. BTW, it seems that once I disabled Skin Helper Settings Widgets both MQ 8 Matrix Mod and MQ 8 Nexus Mod ran fairly well, at least for the things I tried.

Got my settings back. Need to do some testing to see how stable it is.

Just noticed in the magazine view for music, there doesn't seem to be an option to turn on the Alphabet Scrollbar in 'view options'.

Has anyone tried the skin settings file from the Matrix mod on the Nexus mod? Just wondering if it will work. Will save me the time of recreating the skin settings on my other Shield.

Going back to 19.5. Nexus is not ready for "prime time". Crashing.....3 days of trying.
