and my last thing for today before i try to sleep... i dont have any weather icons Tongue ive downloaded some from repo, but they are still empty ... maybe it depends on what weather addon you are using ? will have a look at it tomorrow after work

i am realy curious, when team kodi will give you the skilled skinner tag Mr.Silvo... i think you have more then earned it by now with your own mod and with all this work you did here... what else should you do ? to get this tag ? marry BigNoid ? Smile hehe

Weather icons should be a quick fix since I think they just need the VARS from my skin to show up. Will take a look now.

I am not stressed so keep the reports coming cause the faster I finish the better.

Pretty sure you only get a skilled skinner tag when you post a skin to the Kodi repo... Even though my Wife would not be happy, If BigNoid offered I'd probably accept Rofl

I mean, seriously, who wouldn't want a guy with "Big Noids" HA!

How old User MadNox, I am following with great interest the evolution of this massive update and clean code skin at the same time it is also very difficult to follow the many radical changes than to try to figure out how to deal with these changes when the work will be pushed permanently in MadMikeDoc.

as MikeDoc raised to the post # 2571, issue smart playlist and all that is to outline a new widget is made painless users to change, with a contribution of screenshots and / or videos.

My, I can only add that I use exclusively skin MadNox, only smart playlist for the movies, and I can say that, after a difficult and laborious learning, to have arrived at a good basic understanding of the skin MadNox, thanks to countless guides posted on the front page of the thread, the Sig.Schimi2k.

My hope and 'that remains so.
Just my thoughts and one appreciation for all that you are doing at this time of Christmas festivities.

Great! Weather icons show up now, thanks!

Aside from a system info widget, all that I am missing now really are a couple of things schimi mentioned before:

1. The ability to use the colored icons from the skin instead of the extendedinfo ones when you press info on a widget item
2. Having the label text below the poster/farnart/square poster on the widgets (perhaps extend the panel that is behind the widgets a bit downward to account for that), so that it is really readable.

after some testing on the pc, I copy the new stuff to my OE box in the Living room, and everything works fine so far!

The only thing I'm missing are custom Backgrounds for the submenus, plus Live Pictures.

I set up a submenu with the favorite shows from my wife, and it was kinda handy to see the episode thumbs from the show your focusing, I also liked it for Music Interprets and last played to see the CD covers/Artist Thumbs

One question about the updates. Which source have the latest updates? I still use the github source from page one of this thread. I read MikeSilvo is working on some fixes and ask to try out. (post #2600)
The fix for weather icons was yesterday. So i went to the github page but i saw the latest update is 3 days ago.

Am i missing a source or is MikeSilvo source not public? If it's not public this is ok i wait for the updates at github.

I'm just curious as i want to test and use the latest source.

Does this use Video Extras anymore? I couldn't tell what it does in this skin, but I see it on the help list.
I have a set space for my vid addons that show video type things only, and there's no way to hide it. :/

THX buddy... i have weather icons now ( just bad ones... but this is because of the crap weather Wink hehe )


for all other madnox friends:
this git version from Sir.Bob is an absolut WIP version for people who want to test it a lot and give as much feedback for Mr.Silvo,Sir.Bob and Mr.V ... ( or how i call them " THE A-TEAM" hehe )
best example is "bsoriano" - he give already a lot of feedback - thx 4 that buddy
but to do this, its realy important to update the git version a lot... THE A-TEAM update the git realy often a day, so its hard to keeping up with them hehe

we did this, because we are using still realy old addons in actual Madnox - and with this UPGRADE we do a huge step forward to a future stable MADNOX version ( and more features, faster and much more stable ) - when THE A-TEAM is done with it, MIKE_DOC will get the PR and we can provide it to all
when this is done, i will update my HOW TO on first page with the new configure instructions for the main menu
but please remind what date we have... the next days will be a bit stressy for all of us, so it can took some time...

check the video.extras addon settings ! it will add some entrys in advancedsettings.xml and you can configure there a lot
( you should check all addons - some of them realy need to configure to work properly )
