New BETA version of the skin available on the beta repo!
- Massive speed improvement for the menu building (now only seconds).
- Improved widget assignments
- Fixed some styling issues and small bugs.

Version: 2.2.19 for Gotham and 3.2.19 for Helix.
Please try it out and let me know if you find any issues.
Because of the massive speed improvement I'd like to get this version to the stable repo asap

Did you re-think the translucent back panel? The dark panel seems to be back.
Also, not sure if it's a bug or not but when inside the youtube widget when clicking on a submenu item it seems to go into an empty showcase view by default. When the view is changed the content appears.

No, didn't change that section at all...
What I do know is that I've set the opacity to 60% for the light and white overlay and to 40% for the other overlays because on the white or light overlay the text wasn't readable very well..
Did you perhaps change the overlay ?

Shadow on/off might be a good solution.

Yeah I think I'll go that road. Some sort of color schemes or something.
There are way to many variables to deal with to keep it automatically, why not provide a good default setting and let the user change it as they whish...
Will start working on this later this week.

I've just tested new beta 19... first of all the title length is fixed thanx, second the new menu buid speed is astonishing!! But I've found a couple of bugs... Item titles in the upper left corner are gone everywhere, and it's very difficult to distinguish some content... and on this purpose I'd like to add it also to Poster Row view for tv show seasons. This because in addiction to tv name, I'd like to know also season name with that view (useful for some series which haven't numbers on season posters). Then I've a little issue with last added movie widget: it shows a blank one as first... no idea what should be, but this may be a problem of my library (anyway happens only with this skin after update, no movies added in the while). Then always regarding widgets, with touch support i can't use toggle arrows to change order of contents, as when I click on it it closes the widget panel :/
Anyway I think it's right to replace logo with flags for touch version, but if you could provide both would be the max! Maybe put logo a little bigger in upper right corner...

I am not sure if it's because I pulled the helix .19 beta from GitHub or the beta itself but the widgets seem to be a whacked out since the update. Has anyone else seen an issue with widgets?

I had to change the whole widget system in order to improve the speed of the menu building.
What is whacked out now ? Maybe I miissed something.... Does re-assigning the widget content help ?

Yeah, you can always return to the stable edition of the skin, you can have them both installed seperately.

Custom widgets using submenu as content work on only one of three main menu tiles I have them on and then the movies widget starts off with a blank icon/space.
I going to do a little more testing to see if I can create a new menu tile and a new custom widget for it to see what happens.
