Manufacturer ASRock
Model: Beebox

Then also add MCE Keyboard

Manufacture: Microsoft
Model: MCE Keyboard

Then create a "Watch PC" Activety with your TV, Soundsystem, Beebox and MCE

Did you have any problems with the key repeats/delays when using the MCE Keyboard harmony profile in OpenElec? I have I mapped to my Info button, pressing it seems to fire the command twice, reducing the repeat value from 3 to 1 helps but it's not perfect, sometimes it does not fire at all.

I might see if Logitech will create a copy of their ASRock Beebox profile and add all the keyboard commands, something like....

I just solved changing the HDMI cable that I used until 1 week ago

Now I have my library on my nas (synology+mysql+samba) and no problem with kodi under windows pc,
but openelec give me the error "CONNECTION TIMEOUT", and when work it's impossible to add the source as database (film/show/music)

All devices ha a static ip address.

help me .. thx

Sometimes it would be helpful if you would at least do the most simple things one needs to do when one has a problem.

Post your Debug Log ... we all don't own a crystal ball ...

RE: ASRock Beebox (Braswell) - Hetfiled - 2015-11-10

when I try to upload the file it crashes and tell to see the log file

here is ti http://www.filedropper.com/log-2015-11-10-133638

RE: ASRock Beebox (Braswell) - DouglasteR - 2015-11-10

I had no trouble using OpenElec + Kodi with my NAS Sad

Also, after tweak the cache and buffer sizes i couldnt be happier.

Fritsch,

I have a sample of 4k movie, called the foreman.mov. Its the only 4k movie that is sluggish.

During playback, one of the cores is always 100% (it varies, sometimes is core2, sometimes core3). This is a common and know error ? I can upload the log if you want.

Thanks.

RE: ASRock Beebox (Braswell) - fritsch - 2015-11-10

Get me a mediainfo and a Debug Log while playing this file, please.

RE: ASRock Beebox (Braswell) - fritsch - 2015-11-10

@Hetfield: Those are multiple logfiles merged into one ... Please turn on debugging, reboot, reproduce and when reproduce, get me via ssh:
cat /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | pastebinit
dmesg | pastebinit

Thanks

compile kodi EGL manually.
install libva-driver-intel 1.6.1

I'd like to learn more about doing this for arch linux.

Kernel will be 4.3 if testing repository: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/testing/x86_64/linux/ (is it ok, or does it need patching?)
mesa will be 11.0.4 https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/mesa/
kodi EGL... I have no instructions for that? Do you mind pointing to what's needed? Maybe something already done in AUR? Like this as a base?: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/kodi-devel/
libva is 1.6.1: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/libva/

RE: ASRock Beebox (Braswell) - fritsch - 2015-11-10

kodi EGL: Build the master branch of github.com/fernetmenta xbmc fork - which will be kodi v17

For the rest and especially for coping with ARCH's everyday breakage you need to cope yourself.

I use an ethernet cable, but after activated the option to wait for network seems to work fine.

@fritsch thank you for your time

I actually ended up changing to a combination of the Beebox profile and the Microsoft MCE. (not the keyboard since most keys did not work for me)
Most buttons like info work with the the MCE remote profile.

I do not get any double commands and I did not have to change the repeat value.

Thanks, i've tried the other profile like MCE, I can get the Info button from there but I want the full keyboard

If you want to enable all the keys for the MCE Keyboard profile you need to add a line to autostart.sh
