RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - HiassofT - 2017-08-19 (2017-08-19, 12:20)Aux_ Wrote: After reboot unplugged: After pulling off the power plug the first reboot had worked normally but at the second reboot raspberry has stayed again. Thanks for the logs! In the unplugged case the S960 kernel driver crashes when trying to attach the dvb tuner/demodulator driver: Code: [ 10.824322] usb 1-1.4: dvb_usb_v2: MAC address: 00:17:42:54:96:0c You can try to contact the DVB driver author, maybe he can fix that bug (the kernel shouldn't crash but simply print an error if something unexpected happens). so long, Hias RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - Aux_ - 2017-08-19 Thanks @HiassofT But unfortunately the issue is also available in the official build 8.0.2, have just been tested - but - If you wait 2min the raspberry finally reboots That is why it is not so critical. A question - should not the watchdog start in such a case? RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - HiassofT - 2017-08-19 @Aux_ on a second thought it's more probable that the issue is caused by the device drawing too much power - this is a very common issue on RPi. Check the output of Code: vcgencmd get_throttled Other than that: after a kernel crash everything can happen, even all your HDD data being trashed. Better don't expect the system to run normally after that. so long, Hias RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - Aux_ - 2017-08-19 (2017-08-19, 14:54)HiassofT Wrote: @Aux_ I have looked Code: vcgencmd get_throttled Nevertheless, another power supply tested, unfortunately also negative result. So I think it can not be at the power supply. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - HiassofT - 2017-08-19 You could also try connecting the S960 to a powered USB hub instead of directly to the RPi to rule out RPi power issues. I couldn't find a manual for the box so I'm not sure if using the box without the power supply is supported at all. If the manual says this works and it's not an issue with the RPi power supply contact the manufacturer / driver author. so long, Hias RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - Aux_ - 2017-08-19 (2017-08-19, 16:00)HiassofT Wrote: You could also try connecting the S960 to a powered USB hub instead of directly to the RPi to rule out RPi power issues. This is not really a problem when you know what it is. Easier said if you do not use the S960 you have to pull out both USB and power plug then there is no problem RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-08-19 New LibreELEC.tv Leia build #0819: RPi / RPi2 (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of LibreELEC.tv master (32406a74, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (0f9abae6, changelog) with the following modifications:
RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - bmonster - 2017-08-19 Hi, Are all the PVR addons back in the nightly builds yet. Obviously if they don't they'll be dropped from the Leia repo at some point. If your favourite PVR add-on is in the above list then you should open an issue on the appropriate github (check first that there isn't already an open issue). The stop button also reacts faster, before always had a dark screen a few seconds. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - AndiMandi - 2017-08-20 Hey there, since I installed the latest Release, i´m not longer able to connect to my Kodi via SSH and Putty. If i try to open a connection, Putty always told me "Connection refused" libreelec is installed on a RPi3 and SSH-Service on the RPi is running. I´ve tried to switch the SSH-Service off and on again many times. But nothing helps. Can you help me out? It took some time. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - AndiMandi - 2017-08-20 Nop nothing works. Also Filezilla tells me a "Connection refused". Looks like thers some kind of "Firewall" who blocks my connection. This is what Filezille sais: Status: Connecting to libreelec... Response: fzSftp started, protocol_version=8 Command: open "root@libreelec" 22 Error: Network error: Connection refused Error: Could not connect to server Is there any point in the Settings of Kodi, where I should have a look? If you do not log in with ssh public key, then only thing that must be noted is Settings -> LibreELEC -> Services -> Disable SSH Password (OFF) - must OFF otherwise you can not enter. I've no problem with Putty and SSH but then I don't use passwords (public key only), will test a password later. |
