I am going to try it once more, and will let you know if it happens again.
I you can remember the name of the movie(s) on which this happened you can use 'download extrafanart' for only that movie from the movie info panel.
Prevents downloading for all movies and makes it easier to track down what happened.

alfe I have never had anything like this happen and I have been using AD or all previous incarnations, check for malware / viruses as well , I have never encountered anything like this and certainly hope never do

I suspect something in his scraper that is messing things up.

i have a movie called Cashback (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460740/) which has nudity in some artwork - would be nice if the fanart sites could somehow flag nudity so we could toggle whether or not we want to automatically download those artworks.

It's got for us because it not our fault (jumps around cheering). Bad for you because the problems you experienced and it is your movie scraper that is at fault here.
What movie scraper do you use because they should should fix this because this could mess up a lot more thing except on our add-on?
It adds IMDB ID: 'tt0000000' to the XBMC library which is a very very bad thing to do. This way it will look up artwork using that ID and you know what happens after that.
I included a patch to prevent this happening again (hopefully).
Please remove all you downloaded artwork and run it again and hopefully your problems will be solved (possible some fanart/poster will still show the bad images because of the XBMC caching. This will refresh normally every 24 hours). Could you try the latest and report back?

Ok, i deleted some of the folders who had nasty pictures in it. Then i started
Artwork Downloader and updated the movies again. It looks very good now, and it did not download any porn images to these folders anymore.
I will PM you a link to the new log.

well now you know how
Only problem is you will get the same images for all movie
