Can you confirm you don't have this problem with #0818? I've no problem with Putty and SSH but then I don't use passwords (public key only), will test a password later.

I use also only public key, but now tested without and it had worked in # 0819

Can it be that PVR channels switch much faster now? The stop button also reacts faster, before always had a dark screen a few seconds.

I'd be a little surprised if that has anything to do with ncurses, which is all about command line/terminal functionality.

I've also enabled password access in #0819 and like you have no problem logging in with PuTTY (using password or public key) and also FileZilla (sftp, again with password and public key). So at the moment I'm not able to reproduce the problem reported by @AndiMandi.

Some more things to try:

Boot with hdd disconnected, then run this and post the output
Code:
modprobe fuse
lsmod | paste
Now connect the hdd. Did it mount in kodi?
Also please post the output of
Code:
journalctl -a | paste
after running the steps above.

so long,

Hias

Now it is working, till next reboot. Thank you so far.

I think you should open an issue on the pvr.vdr.vsni github as these builds include the latest available addon.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - smp1 - 2017-08-21

@andiewill

VDR/VNSI works fine here with latest builds.

Code:
23:03:38.455 T:1943175184  NOTICE: ADDON: service.multimedia.vdr-addon v9.0.104 installed

Outdated addon?

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-08-21

I uploaded a new build of vdr-addon last night - it's still 9.0.105 (the same version I uploaded 3 months ago) so the only change for anyone ahead using 9.0.195 is the use of the new gcc-7.2 compiler. @andiewill should try this version.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - AndiMandi - 2017-08-21

@Milhouse
The Login-Problem witth SSH is a littlebit strange. I tried a clean install using the latest officially version of Libreelec and updated it to #0819. After the Update the Login works fine, but it takes a long time until the NIC of the RPi was up and i can connect via putty or Filezilla.
But after one or two reboots of my RPi the problem appears again. A can´t connect to the RPi via SSH, SFTP or SMB.
I dont use a public key for login, only User/PW. This evening i will give it a new try, perhaps its also a problem with my Desktop-PC or my network at home.
Thanks for Help
AndiMandi

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-08-21

@AndiMandi is this wired ethernet or WiFi? DHCP or static/manual? I'm using wired dhcp on an RPi3 and the connection is established about 10 seconds after powering on - you can try enabling "Wait for network" in LE Settings to avid starting Kodi before the network is "up". If it takes much longer than 10 seconds on a wired network then look at your network setup. Also, as far as the network connection is concerned, I don't believe these test builds should be much different from 8.0.2.

(2017-08-19, 22:33)bmonster Wrote: Hi,

Are all the PVR addons back in the nightly builds yet.

Regards Bucky
No. The following are not included (as they don't currently build):
Code:
pvr.argustv
pvr.filmon
pvr.mediaportal.tvserver
pvr.nextpvr
pvr.njoy
pvr.pctv
pvr.stalker
pvr.vbox
pvr.wmc

It's up to the add-on maintainers to update their add-on. Obviously if they don't they'll be dropped from the Leia repo at some point. If your favourite PVR add-on is in the above list then you should open an issue on the appropriate github (check first that there isn't already an open issue).

Done, Thankyou.

Fingers crossed mediaportal gets updated, its the only one that works well with windows...

I've merged a partial fix for the PVR API change. This should make the addon available again in the next build. Note that the performance is not optimal yet as I'm having some issues with the PVR API changes that need to be resolved first.

Thanks @margro, so long as it builds I'll be able to include it again.
