In the future will it be possible to manually add animated posters?  I also want some control over which ones are displayed as the quality of some of the automatically downloaded ones are quite poor, and also the searching seems to slow my slower clients down.
Animated is powered by Skin Helper Service. You can choose them (if many animated artworks are available) with context menu on item or browse path to choose manually your own artworks.
Hmm if I add one manually it doesn't work if I have the skin setting set to off - turning it to on means all the available animated artwork is downloaded i.e. there's no way to just add the ones I want

I've just switched back to my profile, and on the homepage some of the elements are showing info from my kids profile:

- movies/genres - small thumbs only showing movies from the subset that's in the kids profile
- tv shows/next episodes to watch and next airing episodes - showing titles that aren't part of my library i.e. showing kids shows
- tv shows/genres - small thumbs again from kids shows that aren't part of my profile library
All widgets you have mentioned are from Skin Helper Service. Maybe this widgets can't differentiate two different users profiles ?

I can't help you because I have only one user profile. Someone else have this issue ?
Ok, I think I need to report it to that author as it can lead to some awful experiences e.g. 13 assassins, 3 days to kill, 300, 10 things I hate about you turning up in my very sensitive 5 year old's library.......

Best way and it's better to use different sources for each profile, example :

- Adult profile with adult movies/tvshows sources
- Child profile with child movies/tvshows sources

Use different sources folders for adult and child.

No not possible. This use Skin Helper Service addon and need to add code.

Too bad. I wish there would be an Estuary Mod where only this feature gets added. That way it would be nearly as lightweight as the original skin.

I just started testing this skin. Does the categories widget function the same way as a submenu?

Or are the any plans to add a list main menu

Thanks

Yes it's the same as submenus.

I did a survey to find out if people preferred categories widgets or a submenus list and result was categories widgets.

Hi Guilouz, Great Skin mod, using it so far.

My only complain is about the bar when playing videos stays over the subtitles.

Would be possible to include a way to put it up in the top of screen or customize it a little more, for example when ff, pause, just a little bar on the top like confluence mod?

Best Regards

An idea, you can also choose the location of the subtitles, personally they are at the top of the video.
It's configurable in Kodi.

Hi,

i'm not sure what kind of problem i have here. Look at this:

As you can see, all track names are displayed correctly.

Now look at this:

All track names seem to be "T".

What's wrong?

Found it: For some reason there was a % sign missing before T.

Your skin works well, but I question the addition of the default splash screen. It is your right to do this, of course, but I find it quite intrusive and it stays on top of the KODI interface too long.

Is there an option to disable or to reduce the time it is on-screen?

Hi Guilouz

I don't know if you noticed but the subtitle menu changed in the last nightly, I'm wondering if you will bring this change to your skin.

Time depending of your hardware, splashcreen gone when home menu and widgets are loaded, on my OSX and LibreELEC platforms it stay 2/3 sec.

Already done on last git.

Ok, I'm going to leave them off for now...I've worked out they are saved to userdata\addon_data\script.module.metadatautils not to the media folder, which makes it too hard to manage across multiple clients (have to edit multiple times rather than once) to get consistent artwork and having to turn on, let it download some artwork I don't like in the background to have to then delete is too much hard work.

It'd be nice if there was a way to add manually rather than having to have all artwork at 'risk' of being replaced at any time via the script
